Avoid Gaining Weight on the Job

Sounds easy enough, doesn't it?

There are some useful tips here when it comes to staying "diet smart" when you're on the job.  There seems to be a big hurdle for most people when it comes to eating during work hours.  Too often it's lunch out with co-workers or grabbing something on the run - both of which normally lead to less than healthy food choices.  What I find to be extremely helpful is having some healthy things to 'graze' on while I'm working - mini carrots are a favorite.  And secondly, keeping a water bottle around all the time is smart because we often mistake our need for water for what we think is a hunger pang. Water should also be the drink that replaces any high-sugary drinks - they will slow you down and pack on the calories!

Lastly, if you don't already have a snack planned for mid-afternoon, just grab an apple or a banana or other fruit and take it to work - the type of snack that doesn't have to be put in the fridge or prepared ... and you'll find your energy levels stay high and your calorie consumption stays low!

If you find that you're hitting those vending machines or fast food outlets too often, you may need to try The Vice-Busting Diet!</a>
